witnessing the 'aha' moment

With two days gone and two more ahead of us, we have had a great time sharing the makedo concept with trade visitors and members of the public. Many people are instinctively making the connection, and it is wonderful to see their eyes come alive as they realise the potential inherent in our little connector.

And we have been loving the response from within the design community. Our collection of makedo creations have featured in several of our favourite blogs. Lucy from The Design Files posted the above image, and her insights show that she enjoyed taking a closer look at the collection.

Sam Allan mentioned us in his top 5 features on The Vine. He also has perfectly captured the makedo concept with the following neat little phrase:

Makedo is a modular construction system which enables you to create just about anything from, well, just about anything…”

Rollededge writer Tony really hit the spot, with his reference back to one of our earlier inspiration articles and the pertinent question of how could this have been different had makedo components been on the scene at the time.

So if you are able, do come down to the Royal Exhibition Buildings in Melbourne to see makedo in action for yourself.   Should you miss out, do not despair - there is much happening here and one thing we love doing is to share our adventures with you on this blog.  Stay tuned…
