The Year of the Dragon

When a Master Maker like Japan’s Satoshi Tanaka sets out to make something special to mark the New Year, you know you’re going to be in for a treat.

Taking inspiration from the Chinese Zodiac Year of the Dragon, this rather frightening construction has been designed either to hold its own as an ornamental sculpture, or as we can see here it can even be worn in celebration of the year ahead.

That ought to scare away the evil spirits!

See more pictures of the dragon over at the Makedo Japan blog.

What have you made using Makedo in the New Year? Upload your creations to be in the running for Makedo’s Maker of the Month competition!
