Terracycle Popup

With a full line of over 100 products made from recycled and reclaimed materials, NJ based Terracycle is currently running the world’s largest eco pop-up shop in New York City.   The items for sale at GreenUp! are impressive in their own right, but here even the fixtures in the store are made from found items.   Salvaged seating, old doors and more set the tone as a considered approach permeates across all levels.

One principle aim of the store is to focus on creating a center for upcyling.  Consumers can bring in their own waste materials that may be of value for others, and in turn they will receive discounts on products in the Terracycle range.

Like-minded local designers and craftspeople have also been invited to take part in the pop-up store until doors close on May 1, 2010.   Workshops, craft days and eco-capitalism presentations are planned over a month of interesting activities.   Stop, pop and shop ‘till you drop.

More details and all the important info can be found at Terracycle.
