Stringybark Sustainability Festival
Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 5:12 PM
This October, you are invited to get lost in the Makedo maze at Knox City Council’s Stringybark Sustainability Festival. For two days, the Rowville Community Centre in Melbourne will be buzzing with over 80 free workshops and activities for kids.

Stringybark is Australia’s longest running sustainability festival. The event aims to stimulate, educate and entertain people of all ages across seven key themes: Energy, Water, Biodiversity, Sustainable Home, Transport, Recycling and Community.
In 2010, Makedo plans to engage the public to help build an enormous maze using thousands of donated cardboard boxes. Whether you enjoy the visual spectacle from the outside, or lose yourself in the twists and turns, it is bound to be an amazing adventure for all.
