State of Design Bump-In

The official launch of makedo is almost upon us!  Our team of happy tinkerers have been pulling out all the stops to make tonight’s opening of the State of Design festival one to remember.   The pieces have steadily come together to produce an exciting and diverse collection.

It is great to see how different designers and creative minds are showing their interpretation of how upcycling can be taken one step further using a little clever thinking and makedo.  You can click on the image above to be taken to our bump-in flickr set.

We have had a great time installing the collection at Melbourne’s stunning World Heritage listed Royal Exhibition Building.   Following tonight’s opening festivities, the exhibition runs for Trade only on July 16th and 17th, with  Public days on the 18th and 19th.
