Spreading the word: ReUseConnection

As our society continues to embrace a broader material awareness, more and more people are sharing their insights, innovations and inspiration.   Pioneers such as Ian Moise, founder of ReUseConnection, are doing fantastic work in establishing communities based around the exchange of resourceful knowledge.  Got something you don’t need?  At ReUseConnection, there is someone who can take it off your hands or point you in the right direction for a considered way to pass your materials on.   Everything is a resource.

The discussions flow around a strong focus on cross-cultural influences and inspiration.  As Ian says in an article on Greenfudge,

We all care about our children, and we all care about the environment, but we do not all see the same opportunities.

This article draws on the ways different cultures embody the common themes of innovation, imagination and creativity.  There are also some interesting reflections emerging through the comments, for those keen enough to read further.

ReUseConnection plan to launch a new website some time around June 2010.
