Really free?

What a great idea this is. A free market, where everything is free. Really? It almost sounds too good to be true… but true it is.

The appropriately named Really Free Market provides a tangible gimpse of what could one day (for some) be the ultimate post-consumer utopia. Free Trade? A contradiction. At Really Free, there is no money, no bartering or even trading - all is simply given for the joy of fulfilling another person’s needs.
These markets are popping up in cities where social conscience and community mindfulness have left people less than satisfied with our seemingly unstoppable consumer culture.
From the Really Free Market manifesto:
We all have skills, ideas, objects, smiles, talents, friendship, excitement, discussions, and many other things to share. If we bring them all together at the Really Really Free Market, we can provide more balanced and full lives for everyone.
How successful is this concept, really? How long will it last?
