Outgrown your shoes?

Once lauded as a revolution in comfort, the questionable appearance of Crocs was quickly overlooked by evangelical wearers across the globe.   Now that the fuss has died down, what happens to these shoes when users can no longer see beyond the fashion faux pas?   Of course there are many dedicated supporters as the range continues to grow, but for the others, perhaps a Crocs Planter is a nice way to add life to your footwear folly.

Admit it.  You own a pair of Crocs.  If you are not still boldly wearing them, they will be lurking somewhere in the back of a wardrobe or by the laundry door.  The Crocs Planter is one example of reuse, and further ideas can be seen on recyclethis.   Amongst all the suggestions, we think that the planter stands out.  For those without a green thumb, do consider the potential of donating unwanted footwear.   There are smaller ventures such as Crocs for Tots, and large organisations like soles4souls who will happily help you on your endeavours.

It is worth noting that Crocs themselves have a donation program, with over 2 million pairs already given to those in need across the globe.

We first saw the Crocs Planter at Full Circle
