Of all of the companies exhibiting at Design Made Trade, these two deserve a special mention.  Each day they were running a close race for the busiest stand in the show, and with good reason.

We’ve mentioned the KeepCup in our Inspiration section recently.   The consideration that has gone into this product is impressive, and is inversely proportional to the time people took deciding whether to take one home with them.   The only hard part was whether to buy just one, or to go for the three pack and share the KeepCup innovation with friends or colleagues. 

We also cannot leave State of Design behind us without mentioning the gorgeous cards from Able and Game.   Eye-catching in their naive hand drawn graphic style, reminiscent of Napoleon Dynamite but not derivative, it was great to see passers by grin and giggle to themselves at the quirky humour.

People would stand there, cradling freshly purchased KeepCups while thumbing through some of the most delightful and unique greeting cards we’d seen in a long time.   The makedo team was fortunate enough to souvenir some mural panels from the Able and Game stall at the end of the show… thanks guys, we are big fans.
