Melbourne Maker Meetings

makedo are going to kick off 2011 with Monthly Melbourne Maker Meetings! (Alliteration, anyone?)

Starting with a casual get together of makers on Sunday March 6th, makedo want YOU to come think, create and play!

Are you a parent? A designer? Love to work with your hands? Do you have a wild imagination? Are you all of these? Are you none of them but itching to be involved? Then these meetings are for YOU!

Our first gathering will be themed around a Swamp of Fancy, where you can make anything you can dream of, from Max’s Emil to a creepy eel with feathers named Mona. We want you to get involved in the maker community and inspire us with ways of using makedo that we haven’t yet discovered. We want you to take home new ideas for creating, too! We may even throw in a little prize for the wackiest/craziest outcome. The trick is to let your inner child wreak havoc on your imagining sensibilities!

So what do you say? Will you join us for some Sunday afternoon fun?* We’ll provide you with all the materials, bits and bobs that you could ever need and some snacklets. All we want you to do is make stuff and get inspired!
