Kong returns for the kids
Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 4:41 PM
Our giant friend makes another visit, this time in the cavernous space of Earl’s Court, London. Watch him reconstruct in the following stop-motion clip as he stands in sombre contemplation of the week ahead…
He will not be standing there alone for long. From September 24 - 27 the space will come alive as a part of Doing It For The Kids, an exhibition of sustainable play design under the [re]design banner for this year’s 100% Design London Festival. In a show that aims to inspire designers, educators and parents to be more critical and creative, there are sure to be some surprises in store. In the meantime, Kong and a host of other makedo creations have more construction to do - so stay tuned.
