Kids Indoors Part Two: Airplane!
Friday, March 25, 2011 at 10:36 AM
The little makers have been busy over in Brasil, and today we bring you part two from Kids Indoors. It’s time to go flying…

In another fantastic walkthrough, Gisele and her kids take us through their makedo construction process. Starting off by sorting out all of the collected cardboard according to size, patterns are then cut using a technique we are very fond of - punching holes in a line, so that it’s easier for small hands to help with the sawing.
Click through to Kids Indoors to see how it’s done, and watch the excitement build as the airplane takes shape.
The finished result is complete with a custom-fit cockpit (including padded shoulder straps, of course) and a spinning propellor… perfect to fly up into the sky and over the mountains.
