It's warming up...

With all this talk of the climate change and global warming, it must be time for… a quilt? You bet it is! The gang over at Climate Quilt Campaign have turned up the heat on a global effort to give kids a voice at the upcoming United Nations Summit on climate change in Copenhagen.

Garnering the efforts of schoolchildren from all six continents, this giant quilt has seen each student designing a patch containing an individual pledge to take their part in saving the planet. In Melbourne, grade 5 students from several schools will gather at Grimwade House for Making a Difference Day on Wednesday 11 November.
makedo is going to be there for a day of activities and workshops that will culminate in the official hand over of a section of the quilt, to begin its Road to Copenhagen.
Warm your heart with the Climate Quilt Campaign and follow the giant quilt all the way to New York for Earth day in 2010.
