Humans Since 1982

A recent project from Swedish design group Humans Since 1982 turns an array of 24 analog alarm clocks into one large digital timepiece. Dubbed the “The Clock Clock”, this prototype describes the time with a mesmerising animated synchronicity.

If you would like to take what you see with you, a font created using this array is available for free download from the Humans Since 1982 site.
The prototype is on display until mid-August at the Rhösska design-museum in Göteborg. It will be interesting to see what time has in store for this group of innovative design students.
