Chris Jordon’s photography titled ‘Intolerable Beauty – A Portrait of Mass Consumption’ is a series of visuals with the impact to knock you off your chair.

When we first saw these photos it really brought home the reality of waste.

Take a look at this image of discarded mobile phones.

To a large extent it planted the seed for what has become a key part of the ‘makedo philosophy’ – to consider everything around you resourcefully.
