Good Design Expo

For over fifty years, Japan’s Good Design Award has given recognition to products that have a certain edge over their contemporaries. In late August, over 2,000 items were on display for the 2010 Award second round screening in Tokyo.

Our Makedo office robot was there to fly the flag for reuse and playful creativity. As one of the biggest design events in Asia, the Good Design Expo brings together innovations from across the globe. We have to wait a little longer to see who takes out the top awards… results are due to be announced in October.

There were so many great products at Good Design Expo 2010. Be sure to check out this selection showcasing other finalists over at Pink Tentacle.
