From the not-so-distant future

Spotted on Engadget recently, this DIY tutorial merges high-tech iphone gimmickry with the lowest of low-tech - our friend, the cardboard box.

The magic here is combining an iphone application called Mouthoff to take robotic realism to the next level.  Genius in it’s simplicity, this home project could see your next dressup party bring a taste of humanity’s future.  Androids will walk among us.

The iphone application is now free.  This was not always so - interestingly, since this story broke on Engadget sales of Mouthoff increased by over 700% - someone was laughing with maniacal robot glee all the way to the bank.
