Do The Green Thing: Saved

Is your favourite T getting a little long in the tooth? Feeling guilty about hanging on to items you have not worn for years; or perhaps you are looking for a way to wear your green credentials on your sleeve… literally.
Old T-shirts are becoming tomorrow’s fashion statement with Saved, a fantastic initiative from Do The Green Thing.

It all happens when the public (that’s you, and us too!) send in their pre-loved T’s for Do The Green Thing to rejuvenate and transform into something even better than new. Hand-stitched lettering s-a-v-e-d is supported by a little story; Saved from bad taste, Saved from disrepair, Saved from neglect…

Proceeds from sales support the registered charity Green Thing Trust, and there is even the chance that the saved T-shirt you purchase was previously owned by a random celebrity.

SAVED is part of what Green Thing calls All-Consuming - the art of wasting nothing and using up everything.
