Cardboard Cloud

The thrill of unpacking. This was the inspiration for an exhibition space at the Centre for Design and Architecture (DogA) in Oslo, Norway. An immersive experience was created by Fantastic Norway Architects, with over 3000 boxes forming a series of pixellated clouds suspended above an exhibition of student work.

Not only impressive in the immersive impact of mass hovering above the display floor, the shadows cast onto the ground also have the variety of density that we are used to experiencing only in the outdoors.
All this, in giant pixellations. An interesting way to re-use boxes with maximum impact.
