A little bit brilliant

Spotted amongst the [re]design collection at 100% Design London, Sugru is a product in a realm all of its own. With the expressed purpose of “hacking things better”, this unique silicone sends a message that is music to our ears - to improve upon what is around you, rather than buying new stuff all the time.

The material works by reacting with a catalyst to be easily moulded by hand or with simple tools. After a short curing time at room temperature, it becomes a soft-touch silicone that is both tough and durable. The list goes on… Sugru is also self-adhesive, waterproof, flexible, dishwasher proof and impressively temperature resistant.
PJ had a play with it himself, and after his glowing description we can’t wait to get our hands on some! Sugru will be available soon in a rainbow of bright colours - keep an eye on their website for updates and info.
