A case in point

Packing up the suitcase before heading away is one of the great pleasures of travel. This process then changes during your travels, often becoming an arduous chore, only to transform into pleasure once more when the time comes to unpack upon arriving home. What other stories are hidden inside our travel luggage? Swedish artist Michael Johansson has given new life to old cases with refined elegance:

With a title that comes from an old Swedish rhyme, Packa Pappas Kappsäck (Pack Daddy’s Suitcases), this work references the difficulty of repeating the same action time and again. The resulting technicolour rainbow is another interesting outcome of subverting the original purpose of the suitcase.
